Urban Adventure Camps
Our Urban Adventure Camps bring Forest School opportunities to your 5 - 12 years olds. Offered during school holidays and teacher professional development days, these programs offer a fantastic complement to your child’s education.
In Saskatoon, we will be offering camps throughout the year, in three different age groups:
For children ages 3-6 years we recommend a half day five days per week (see Little Adventurers Camp).
NEW THIS YEAR: For 5-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds we will run full day programs.
We also have limited spaces available for individual day spaces. For more information about what happens at Camp you can read our Camp Handbook.
Depending on the season, campers enjoy a range of activities including, but not limited to:
Sharing circles, snow sculpting, sledding, snow shoeing, shelter building, snow and stick art, river safety, tea making, fire building, storytelling, winter navigation, bannock making, making hot chocolate, bud prints, nature walks, wood crafting, forest games, sit spots (meditation), insect collecting, mud art, biking, plant identification, learning to use a compass, yoga, flower prints and natural dyes, paracord knots, tree climbing, swimming, water filtration, pond dipping, sketching, journaling, orienteering, hikes; learning to ride the Transit system; archery; dancing; singing; sewing; taking care of our environmental; building bikes and more!

8th July to 12th July - Spaces available;
15th July to 19th July - Spaces available;
29th July to 2nd August - Spaces available

Times: Drop off 9am - Pick-up 4pm
Cost: $70 per day
Children will need:
- Appropriate clothing depending on the season and weather conditions
Backpack containing:
- 2 snacks (morning / afternoon)
- 1 Lunch
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen (during the summer)
To find our more about our team, please see our Who Are We section. We will have a ratio of 1:7 adults to children. There are always two adults with the children. Group sizes will be an average of 8, however some weeks might have up to 12 children.
Bursaries
Wild Sky's Urban Adventure Camp Bursary Program is intended for families with limited income to ensure that all children are able to access our programs at a subsidized rate of $200 per child for one week of Camp or $40 for one day of camp.

Registration Forms
In order for your child to take part in the Forest School Program, we will require the following documents to be completed, signed (electronically) and returned to us BEFORE the first day of camp. Otherwise, the child will not be able to participate. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns or questions about the following forms.
