Wild Sky after school
After a long day of structured learning inside, Wild Sky After School gives children the opportunity to engage in outdoor exploration and play-based learning. Brunskill students will be picked up immediately after school by Wild Sky educators. They will spend 2 hours outdoors – exploring green spaces, natural playgrounds & outdoor classrooms in the neighborhood surrounding Brunskill. Wild Sky educators use a Forest School model that emphasizes experiential, imaginative, curiosity-driven and play-based education. Children will learn about natural systems and environmental stewardship by observing the plants, animals, insects, and weather around them.
In case of extreme weather, Wild Sky partners with neighborhood indoor spaces for use as needed. Children can be picked up between 5:00 and 5:20 at a designated location.
What?
After school/evening program - with Wild Sky 3.20pm until 5.20pm, Tuesday and Thursday, from October 2024 until June 2025. Groups will be a maximum of 12 children.
Where?
We explore the neighbourhood surrounding Brunskill School, Saskatoon
For whom?
All children aged 5 years to 12 years, Grade 1 to Grade 5 children.
How much?
$24 per after-school session (one Tuesday or one Thursday), when booking for at least one month. Or $29/session on a drop in basis (must be booked at least 24 hours in advance).
You may pay choose to pay for one month, two months or more at a time. We are able to process these payments depending on your individual need. N.B. You will only need to complete our registration forms one time.
